Violet Sparkle
Created by Belgian gardener-collector Bart Praet.
Medium early, tall indeterminate. The fruits are drop-shaped, amber in color, dense, very sweet.
A very beautiful shape and attractive fruit appearance - they look like drops of transparent amber.
The taste is not tomato at all, more like grapes, very similar to Green Grapes from Tom Wagner - richly sweet, with a real fruity taste and a barely noticeable tomato note, liked to hard, crunchy candies, with a very mild, sweet taste with a slight sourness.
Plants are tall with many thin shoots, above average productivity.
The fruit contains very few seeds.
We were told that this variety took second place among the best tomatoes at the Tomatofest held at the Nos Pilifs farm in Brussels in 2021!
